Shelia Arnold, MSN, APRN, AGPCNP is a Nurse Practitioner at OPDNM, where she provides direct patient care for individuals undergoing detox and outpatient treatment. An Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, she brings five years of experience in primary care alongside 13 years as a critical care ICU nurse, a background that informs her steady, clinically grounded approach to managing patients through medically complex moments.
In her day-to-day role, Shelia completes medical and psychiatric assessments, manages withdrawal symptoms, prescribes and monitors medications, and works closely with the clinical team to support safe stabilization and recovery. Her focus is on compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses both the medical and behavioral health needs of every individual she treats.
Shelia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist University in Memphis, Tennessee, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
She is drawn to addiction and mental health care because it allows her to support patients during some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. She values being part of a team that helps individuals stabilize medically, regain control, and begin meaningful recovery. Professionally, she is passionate about delivering high-quality, nonjudgmental care that supports both physical and mental health recovery.
